Video of Providence Plantation Neighborhood in South Charlotte, NC

Providence Plantation neighborhood in South Charlotte, NC is one of the area's most popular neighborhoods!  Buyers from everywhere choose to buy a home in Providence Plantation because of its wide variety of well-maintained homes, the large, mature lots with lots of trees, the Providence Plantation Racquet and Swim Club, the incredibly convenient LOCATION, close to tons of shopping, dining and entertainment choices, and because of its top-rated Charlotte public schools!  Providence Plantation is zoned for Providence Spring Elementary School, Crestdale Middle School, and Providence High School!

Here's my latest video of Providence Plantation neighborhood in South Charlotte, NC!

Homes for sale in Providence Plantation currently range in price from just under $300,000 to almost $1 million - there's a style and price range for everyone.  What I love about this neighborhood (and I live in Providence Plantation myself), is that the developers had a wonderful vision of preserving the trees and the topography of the neighborhood when they developed.  They didn't come in and scrape all the trees and build cookie-cutter homes - you'll find lot sizes from .25 acres to over 4 acres, and homes ranging in size from 2,500 SF to over 8,000 SF!  There are brick, stone, wood, stucco or vinyl homes...2 story, 3 story, ranches, basement, traditional and contemporary homes.  You'll find a welcoming group of neighbors because everyone seems to have come from somewhere else!

Homes for sale in Providence Plantation tend to hold their value, because home buyers are always looking for well-built homes in great locations with great public schools.  Providence Plantation suffered some price declines during the real estate market crisis, but not nearly as steep declines as in some other areas of Charlotte and in the country as a whole.  In 2011, 66 homes were sold in Providence Plantation, at a median price of $375,000, with a 96% list-to-sales price ratio.  Since the beginning of 2012 to date, median home prices in Providence Plantation have increased to $392,500, with the same 96% list-to-sales price ratio.

Melissa  That video on Providence Plantation is very well done - not too long and gently informative.  I enjoy doing them and they show up on Page 1 of Google

Karen, I think you're a master of video - you do such a great job, and your voice is so calm and soothing.  Thanks for checking out my video.  I'm a novice, and I've got to figure out how to shorten the video and get less shaking!

Nice video Melissa!  I really like the four seasons you showcase at the bottom of your blog too.  I shoot a lot of video myself and have had great success with finding myself on page 1 of Google frequently.  Good luck and keep up the good work!

Very nice voice over on your video. I would so encourage you to get a steadcam and edit some the trees out a bit. Were maybe just not used to seeing them here in the Las Vegas area! I personally would like to get the iphone steadicam thing one the sell at HDHat. I like the community specific angle!

Well hello Pamela and Lee, and thanks for the feature in the VBloggers group, although it's not really deserved!  I have a long way to go!  I appreciate you checking in!

Jeff and Lee Ann - thanks for taking the time to comment.  I agree, it's not very steady - but it's such a big neighborhood, the only way to video it is to drive it.  Maybe I'll check out the steadicam thing you're talking about!
